The Partners of Mowbray House Surgery have been in discussions with the Partners of Mayford House Surgery about the possibility of merging the two practices. The decision has now been made not to merge the practices at this time. The two practices will continue to work closely together where appropriate.

Please remember to keep us updated of any change in contact details.

Book Appointments Online

Consultations with your doctor are by appointment only. Your appointment is for 10 minutes. Please ask for a double appointment if you know your problem may need more time or if you have more than one issue to discuss.

Book appointments online via the link at the top of this page (registration required).

Urgent Appointments

If you require an urgent appointment i.e. for the same day, you may be asked to speak to a doctor to decide how best to deal with the problem. It is not always necessary to see the doctor as some problems can be dealt with by telephone.

Telephone Advice

A doctor is usually available to speak to patients for advice. Unless this as an URGENT problem, it may be necessary to leave your telephone number so that the doctor concerned can ring you back.

Branch Surgery

We also hold an outreach surgery in The Village Hall at Appleton Wiske on Tuesday mornings between 09:30 and 10:30.

Dr Rogers or Dr Todd are available between these times and no appointment is needed.

This surgery is only available for patients living in the surrounding villages.

Practice Nurses

In a number of cases it might be worth considering an appointment with a practice nurse rather than a doctor. Practice nurses are qualified to deal with many conditions and you may be seen more quickly.

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
